Tack v0.32.0: Progress That Stays on the Board
Tack Team
A live meeting is only as trustworthy as what remains when you step away. Version 0.32.0 elevates Save & Continue Later so the board you leave is the board you reopen — topics, discussion points, and parking-lot items included — and calibrates the sync indicator so Pioneers can read when work has actually landed.
Durable Pause
- Canvas Follows You: Pausing a session now preserves the host canvas with the same richer-wins authority End Meeting already uses, so optimistic nodes are not erased when the event log is still catching up.
- Live Checkpoints: Priority saves fire when a new node appears, when the host pauses, or after a quiet gap in speech; quieter opportunistic checkpoints also settle any other board changes so topics and discussion points are not waiting solely on End Meeting.
- One Save Path: Pause, flush, and snapshot run as a single serialized sequence. Unload keepalive flushes no longer race that path when you leave the room.
- Live Motion While Paused: A paused session keeps its flow-edge motion, so Continue Later still reads as an open room rather than a finished recap.
- Honest Sync: The live sync chip drains one wave of events at a time, so continuous speech can no longer trap it on Saving…. Direction insight also arms once past its transcript threshold instead of resetting forever while someone is talking.
- Focused Next Steps: Next Best Actions now surfaces confirmations, closeouts, and overdue work — not owner gaps the room cannot assign yet.
- Content-First Points: Discussion points in the outline drop "Speaker claims…" narration and read as the substance of what was said.
- Honest Transcript: When a session has no real speaker diarization, the transcript no longer stamps every line with UNKNOWN — labels appear only when speakers are actually attributed.
- Named From Turns: Without mic diarization, Tack clusters conversational turns and resolves them to human names from attendees and dialogue when the evidence is clear — otherwise lines and owners stay unlabeled. No invented Speaker 1 labels, and no forcing the host name onto a monologue.
- The Board Follows the Conversation: The outline and the canvas now stay locked to the newest captured moment as it lands, on desktop as well as mobile. Navigate back on purpose — scroll, drag, or zoom — and Tack holds your position instead of pulling you forward; a single quiet control reports what arrived while you were reading and returns you to the live edge when you want it.
- Sharing Audio Never Reads as Paused: Turning on meeting audio mid-session no longer leaves the controls saying Paused. Tack shows a brief Adding audio state, keeps listening throughout, and now genuinely folds the shared call into what it hears instead of continuing on your microphone alone. Sharing while paused works too: the control confirms the share is held and tells you it starts when you resume.
Leave mid-conversation, return later, and the outcome map is still yours.
