Tack v0.30.0: The Screen Stays With You
Tack Team
A meeting driven from a phone was, until now, quietly fighting the phone. Set the handset down for two minutes of uninterrupted discussion and the screen dimmed, then locked — taking the live captions, the outcome map, and every visible sign that Tack was still working with it. Version 0.30.0 removes that fight.
Awake While It Listens
- No Touch Required: While a live meeting is capturing, Tack holds the screen on. Put the phone on the table and leave it there for the whole conversation.
- Precisely Scoped: The lock is held only while capture is running. Pause the meeting, finish it, or switch away to another tab and it is released immediately — an abandoned session cannot sit there draining a battery.
- Restored on Return: Come back to the Tack tab mid-meeting and the screen is held awake again, without a tap.
On any browser that does not offer the control, the meeting behaves exactly as it did before. Nothing to enable, nothing to configure — it simply stops being something Pioneers have to think about.
