Tack v0.27.0: A Real Path Into Wave 1
Tack Team
Version 0.27.0 refines the front door. A prospective Pioneer arriving at Tack should understand — in seconds — who the driver is built for, watch it work, and see exactly how it stays out of the room. This release brings each of those moments forward without touching the drift-first story at the core.
One Door: Google Sign-In
- No Forms, No Friction: Every path into Tack is now a single gesture — sign in with Google. No application to fill in, nothing to type; one click and you exist in the system.
- Signed In Means On the List: New accounts join the waitlist the moment they sign in. From there the existing unlock paths apply — an invite code, two referrals, or a paid plan — while invites continue to roll out in waves.
- Nothing Lost: Every sign-in is captured directly in Tack's own infrastructure — no submission, and no interested team, quietly disappears.
Proof, Framed
- One Real Meeting Moment: The product demo is now introduced as a single continuous scenario — drift, park, decision, owner — rather than a montage, with captions and a transcript on the final cut.
- The Trust Model, In Plain Sight: A calm "How Tack stays out of the room" panel now sits beside the first walkthrough — no bot on the call, one browser tab, audio used only for your meeting, every record scoped to your organization — each linked to the fuller explanation.
- The Outcome, Made Explicit: The comparison closes on what actually leaves the meeting: not a transcript to read later, but one shared outcome map of decisions, named owners, next steps, and parked context.
- Honest Presence Cues: Inside a live session, the "Listening" indicator is now calibrated to the microphone's true state — it appears only while Tack is actively capturing audio, never while the mic is idle.
The result: a first-time visitor can tell who Tack is for, how it differs from transcription tools, and exactly how to get in — one Google sign-in, before they ever ask.
